“Mr. Moody settled in the west part of Granby, Mass. His house was on the south side of the road leading from Granby to South Hadley and near where the road, which leads to ‘Moody Corner’ in South Hadley, meets the former at a right angle. The homestead is still occupied by his descendants. He was a Selectman and Assessor many years.”

®8On the 1800 US Census his household in Granby his family consisted of himself, over 45, his wife 26-44, 3 boys and one girl under 10, one boy 10-15 and one girl 16-25. He lived near the Reuben Moody family.
®2041On the 1810 US Census his household in Granby, Massachusetts consisted of himself and his wife, both over 45, 1 boy under 10, 1 boy and 1 girl 10-16, and 1 boy 16-26. He was a widower for 14 years, and died at South Hadley at age 87.
