The living of Moulton was sequestered, 17 Mar 1644/1645, from John Browne because he would not pray for a blessing on Parliament (Walker’s Sufferings of the Clergy) Davy, in his "Suffolk Collections” (British Museum, Additional MSS., 19103, copies from Tom Martin’s "Church Notes” two letters from George Moody (2,iii) and Jonas Alston (1651), sequestrators of the living, to Mr. Mason, who had occupied the living but whom they had rejected as a "scandalous” Minister.
