He was a life long resident of Virginia, Minnesota. In 1941-2 he was a clerk for Sam Schwartz and lived with his parents and siblings Anthony, Frank and Jean at 120 South 3rd Street, Virginia, Minnesota. In 1954-86 he lived with his widowed mother (until his mother’s death on 31 Oct 1958) and sister Jean and brother Frank (until Frank’s death in 1965) in the family home at 120 South 3rd Street. In 1954 he was a miner, in 1956 a switchman and from 1962-74 a laborer. He worked for Oliver Iron Mining Company until 1963, then for US Steel from 1966-74. He retired in 1975. He was in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1640 of Virginia, the Crellini-Tini Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1113 of Virginia and United Steel Workers of America Local 1938 of Virginia. He probably never married as no wife is listed in his 17 June 1988 obituary.
