®2916At a pretty ceremony performed at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, November 17, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, Wisconsin, Miss Marie Matkovich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Matkovich, was united in marriage with Leonard C. Rauen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rauen of Edgar, Wisconsin, the Reverend J. Trinko officiating. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white transparent ?, with a long train over white satin, with a Queen Ann collar held together with a see-pearl brooch. Her circular finger-tip veil was caught with a satin halo. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and pompons. White satin sandals completed her ensemble. Miss Emelia Matkovich, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor and Miss Margaret Rauen sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid. They were dressed alike in gowns of royal and navy blue. The gowns were designed with bodices of navy blue velvet, giving a heart-shaped effect, with full short-trained skirts of royal blue moiré. They wore headdresses of navy blue net caught with pompons. Silver sandals completed their attire. Their shower bouquets consisted of carnations and pompons. Martin Matkovich, brother of the bride, attended the groom as best man. Mrs. A. C. Wagner of Neillsville presided the organ.
