He lives with Mary F, a 33 year old white female who keeps house, his children Ambert G., 6, Julie E., 3 and Lizzie O., 1; his sister in law Marie M. Brown, 35, Warren Davis (a 17 year old white male with no occupation), his widowed mother Betsey, 68, and brother Samuel, 27. His wife Harriet is not living with them.
®294 On 1 June 1880 he is a 47 year old farmer in Northfield living with his wife Hattie, 47, Arther E., 16, [Ambert] Julia E., 13, Olive, 11, Mary E., 9, Ethel, 6, Ruth, 3, Pauline, 1, and Melita Brown, his 46 year old sister-in-law.
®286 On 1 June 1900 he is 67, has been married to Harriet B., 65, for 37 years and they have had 8 children of which 6 have survived as of 1900. They lived on a farm in Northfield that he owned without a mortgage with their daughter Marion P., 21 and single and Harriet’s sister, Mary M. Brown, 67.
