He was married with two children and living at 169 Shuniah Street, Port Arthur, Ontario, from 1912 to 1918. His phone number was 2121 and he worked at a dry dock. He moved with his family in 1924 from Port Arthur to Giscome, British Columbia where he was employed as a sawyer. He was married and lived in Giscome, British Columbia in 1927. The family eventually settled on a homestead on Ferguson Lake Road near Prince George, British Columbia. His wife died in 1936. He visited Bayfield from 1-6 March 1941. He lived at his son Melville’s house at Box 417, 426 Melville Avenue, Prince George, British Columbia, Canada from 1946 to 1968.
