She lived in Northampton ®891 or Williamsburg at the time of their marriage. ®687 She was Noah’s first wife. ®408  Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620–1988, Huntington Vital Records, 1028, (intentions 5 March 1792 [sic], spelled “Fance”), 80 (marriage of Noah Moody of Norwich and Rebecca “Tarrar” of Williamsburg at Northampton 17 November 1791), images online at Ancestry.com. In this latter entry, Rebecca’s surname may have been copied incorrectly by the Huntington town clerk from the Williamsburg clerk’s attest. Corbin, Corbin Collection: Volume I, Williamsburg Vital Records, ref. [50] (intentions 20 October 1791, says “Fance”); ibid. Northampton Vital Records, ref. He lived in Norwich at the time of his first marriage to Rebecca Faunse in 1791. ®687 On the 1810 US Census his family of 1 boy and 1 girl under age 10, 1 girl age 10-16, 1 boy and 1 girl age 16-26, and Noah over 45 lived in South Hadley. Massachusetts. ®810 He was bequeathed two dollars in the will of his father, Noah Moody, dated 19 Sep 1811. ®423 He was one of the first settlers in Malone, Franklin County, New York, ®878 In 1810 he was appointed justice of the peace in Franklin County, ®879 and in 1812 appointed coroner. ®880 In 1814 he married his second wife, Betsey Ranger. ®408 He married his third wife, Lydia Abel, in 1849. ®408 In 1820 in Bangor, Franklin Co., Noah and a female were 45 or over with a male 16–18 and a female 10–16. ®881 In 1860 in Malone, Noah was 90 and Lydia 72. ®882
