The will of her father, Zachiarah Lamar dated 23 Jan 1832 left her in trust his 2436 acre Hurricane plantation in Baldwin County. She was also to receive additional lands in Houston, Dooly, Irwin Monroe and Early Counties. The lands were to be held in Trust by Lucius Q. C. Lamar of Baldwin County and Jesse Robertson of Jefferson County, until her marriage, and to pass to any children she might have, at her death. Otherwise, it was to be divided equally between her brothers, John B. and Andrew Jackson.
