My cousin, Mr. Mark was present during her illness & at her death; she sacrificed herself to serve her husband’s life who was not expected to live. He never shed a tear, & singular enough selected the Hotwells as the place to spend the honeymoon, ‘_____ ____!(?) on his 2nd marriage in 1786.

Hotwells is a community in Bristol, about one mile west of the city centre. It takes its name from the hot springs which bubble up through the rocks of the Avon Gorge
