Alfred C. Korseberg emigrated from Sweden in 1884.
®7555, ®8505 He married Christine Palm in 1886. They had moved to Bayfield no later than November 1886 when they buried their first infant, Ivan, in Greenwood Cemetery in Bayfield.
®4465On 1 June 1900 Albert, 40, a painter and paperhanger, lived on Rittenhouse Avenue at the corner of Eighth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. (William McCarty lived in the adjacent house on Rittenhouse and William Nichols lived next door to them on Eighth Street) He and Christina, 41, had been married for 14 years and she had eight children, with five still living; Freda C., 10, Antone, 8, Ingve, 6, Elsie, 3 and Jennie, eight months of age.
®8506On 1 June 1905 Affred Krosberg, a 46 year old fireman, born in Sweden, lives with his wife, Christina, 47, born in Sweden, and Alfreda, 15, Antona 13, Yngie, 11, Elsie 8, Jennie, 5, and Henry, 1, in Bayfield, Wisconsin. The children were all born in Wisconsin. They lived in a home he owned in the Town of Bayfield at an unspecified address between the Theodore Earnest [sic] family and the home of Christ Bjorklund?.
®8507On 15 April 1910 Alfred C. Korsberg, 50, born in Sweden, lived with his wife Christine, 51, Alfreda C. 20, Antone E., 18, Ingve L., 15, Elsie H., 13, Jennie M., 10, and Henry B. 5 in Bayfield, Wisconsin. (no street named but between the homes of Martin McNeil and Peter Edlund)
®8508 On 1 January 1920 Alfred C. Kroseberg lives in an unmortaged home he owns on Rittenhouse Avenue at the corner of Ninth Street in Bayfield. (Oscar Jeffords lived adjacent on Ninth Street between Rittenhouse and Manypenny) He became a naturalized citizen in 1890. He was a building carpenter. Living with him are Christine, 61, Ingve E., 24, Jennie M., 20, and Henry B., 15.
®8505On 1 April 1930 Alfred Korsberg, a 70 year old widower lived alone in a home he owned worth $2000 on Sixth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin (H. J. Wachsmuth-Alfred Korseberg-Ed Moe-John Erickson-Henry Hanson).

“Funeral services were held this afternoon for Alfred K. Korseberg, 86, Bayfield resident for 62 years who passed away Monday afternoon at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Ashland, where he had been a patient since last March, when he suffered a broken hip in a fall. Born in Sweden on October 14, 1859, Mr.Korseberg came directly to Bayfield in 1884 where he entered the painting and decorating business. In 1886, he was married to Christine Palm, who passed away in 1928.”
