®73On 1 January 1920 Alex J. Arseneau, a 29 year old loader in a lumber company and his 20 year old wife Jennie K. lived with Alex’s sister Malvina (sic) M.’s family, the Edward Trombleys on Broad Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin.
®10158 On 1 April 1930 Aleck (sic), was a 38 year old laborer in a lumber yard who lived in a house that he rented for $11 a month at 406 St. Claire Street, Ashland, Wisconsin. He had married at age 27 and his wife Jennie at age 21. Jennie was 32, Isabelle, 10, Clifford, 4 years and 6 months and Marie 2 years and 6 months. His brother-in-law, Nels Nelson, 27, single, and also a laborer in a lumber yard lived with them.
®10159 On 1 April 1940 Alex Arseneau, 50, had moved back to Bayfield with his wife Jane, 43, and Clifford, 16, Babe Marie, 13 and Gerald W., 2. They had returned to Bayfield by 1935 and lived in a house they rented for $8 per month. Alex worked as a carpenter on a W. P. A. dock project.
