He was born at Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, near Baie St. Paul. At age 20 he was one of the first settlers of St. Fulgence at the time it was known as Pointe-Au-Pin (Pine Tree Top). He made the trip on foot through wild forests with other young companions. On 13 April 1891 he lived in St. Fulgence, several houses away from his father-in-law, Louis Mackay. He was 44 years old, married to Celina Mackay Bolduc, 35, and had children Hector, 16, Elie, 14, Joseph, 12, Eugene, 10, Delphis, 7, Marie, 4, Ucclide, 2, and his father Hyppolite Bolduc, 80.
®4095 In 1911 “Eliffe” Bolduc, age 64, born in Québec lived in St. Fulgence with Celina, 55, Velide, 21, Emile, 19, and Berthe, 14.
