In 1881 James Ache, a 30 year old farm laborer lived with his wife, Louise, 28, and children Mary Jane, 6, Mary Selina, 4 and Bridget, 1 with the Domnick Arseneau family on the Arseneau farm in Bathurst, New Brunswick. He was Domnick’s son in law.
