Frank Stark attended the A & B class of Bayfield Schools ca 1878. He was the proprietor of the Stark Hotel and Overdeer of Highways and Justice of the Peace.
®4872On 1 June 1900 Frank Stark, a 38 year old grocer born in Wisconsin in February 1862, lived in a house he owned without a mortgage on Rittenhouse Avenue in Bayfield, Wisconsin. He lived with Mary Starks, 29, born in Germany, his wife of 10 years and their three children, Lila, 8, Harold, 5, and Dorris, 9 months, and one lodger, Oswald Mickelson, a single 21 year old laborer born in Norway.
®5191On 15 April 1910 Frank Stark, 48, born in Wisconsin lived with Mary Stark, 38, born in Germany, his wife of 20 years. Frank was a grocery merchant. They had five children, all surviving, and two lodgers (Pauline Sorenson, 35, Wisconsin and Olga F. Nelson, 21, Wisconsin) who lived with them in a unmortgaged house Frank owned on Sixth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Lila M., 18, Harold G., 15, Doris M., 10, Bernice, 7, and Willard F., 1 year and 9 months, all born in Wisconsin. Frank’s parents had both been born in Germany.
