     Florence Silver was born on 15 September 1895 in North Carolina.2 She married first Marcus N. Hall, son of William Andrew Hall and Mary Ella Bowditch, on 18 February 1915 at the home of G. W. Silver in Crabtree Twp., Yancey Co., North Carolina.1 They were divorced in 1920 (they are both listed as married in the 1920 census, although living apart, and Florence remarried in December 1920).3,4,5 She married second Horace McNeill on 19 December 1920 in Crabtree Twp.5 She died on 28 July 1958 in Burnsville, Yancey Co., at age 62 from breast cancer.2 She was buried on 30 July 1958 at Blue Rock Church Cemetery in Yancey Co.2
     She is listed as married in the 1920 census, enumerated in January, but was living with her parents in Crabtree Twp., Yancey Co., North Carolina, apart from her husband Marcus Hall.4
