     Della Jean Lacher was born on 17 December 1932 in Argos, Marshall Co., Indiana.3,2 She married Robert Allen Miller, son of Robert Kenneth Miller and Helen Barbara Burlingham, on 12 April 1951 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana.4 She died on 20 July 2000 at Rosewood Terrace Nursing Home in Elkhart, Elkhart Co., Indiana, at age 67 from congestive heart failure.3,2 She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana.5
     She graduated in 1950 from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana.5 She worked as a waitress at the Balloon Works Restaurant in Plymouth for 16 years5, and later, from 1977 to 1984, as a medical records secretary at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.5,3 In 1998 she and her husband Robert moved to Elkhart, Elkhart Co., Indiana, where their son Kurt was living.1
