Deceased Name: N. Joseph Houghton
N. Joseph Houghton, 93, of Concord died Thursday at Havenwood Nursing Home. He was born in Alexandria Bay, N.Y., the son of Norris and Louine (Campbell) Houghton. He was a graduate of St. Lawrence University and the Harvard University School of Business. He worked for Eastman Kodak Co. for 35 years, retiring as the manager of international systems for product design, development, budgets, control and supervision. He also was a senior lecturer at the University of Rochester's Graduate School of Management. He was a member of St. Paul's Church in Rochester, N.Y. He served as a board member and treasurer for the University of Rochester.

Survivors include his second wife, Madeleine (Bickelhaupt) Houghton of Concord; two stepdaughters, Janet Sallah of Alton Bay and Linda Adams of Bedford; six step-grandchildren; and nine great-step-grandchildren. His first wife, Margaret (Leiterman) Houghton, died previously. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, Rochester, N.Y. Entombment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsfield, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Giving Program, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 Route 101, Unit 8, Bedford 03110-5032. Bennett Funeral Home in Concord is handling the arrangements.¹
