He didn't divorce Anna and marry his second wife Rose Blank until much later. My mom says Hymie waited until his mother Roisa died in 1955 for the divorce. There may have been a 1930 marriage between a Hyman Kahan and a Rose Kaplan, but these were likely different people. Also, Edith Semiatin's family tree lists Rose's maiden name as Blank.
