In the name of God Amen. I Benjamin Whelpdale of Ludborough in the County of Lincoln, Yeoman, being weak and infirm of Body, but of a perfect and [di]sposing mind and memory, Praised be God, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, and do freely committ and commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my most gracious Creator, hoping and stedfastly believing by & through the merits ofJesus Christ my most merciful Saviour, to obtain pardon of and for all my Sins; and after this life ended to be made partaker of everlasting Life and Salvation in the World to come; And I desire that my Body may be decently buried in such place and manner as my Executors shall think fitt. And as to the Worldly Estate, wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me, and which is in my power to dispose of, I do hereby give, devise, and bequeath the same in manner & form following. first, I will, that my debts and funeral Charges shall be payed and discharged.

Item, I will and ordain that my Mother Anne Whelpdale shall have the table ____ ____ & ____ ____ _ ____ to call for it.
Item I give & bequeath to my son John one hundred pounds to be paid at the age of one & twenty years.
Item, I give & bequeath to Ann my eldest daughter fifty pounds to be paid at the age of one &twenty.
Item, I give & bequeath to Mary my second daughter fiftypounds to be paid at the age of one & twenty years. Item: I give & bequeath to Elizabeth my youngest daughter fifty pounds to be paid at the age of one & twenty years.
And if it shall happen that any one, or more of them, shall die before they come to age to dispose of the Said portions themselves; in this case I will and ordain, that the money belonging to the deceased, shall be equally divided amongst the surviving Children; also I will and ordain, that they shall be & continue with their [Mother untill the age of one and twenty years she?] giving them a suitable Education and maintenance during that time.
All the rest and residue of my personal Estate, Goods, & Chattels whatsoever I do give and bequeath to Sarah my loving Wife, whom I make and appoint my full & Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament. And I do hereby revoke, disanull, and make void all former Wills & Testaments by me heretofore made.
