Thomas and Elizabeth White appeared on the 1841 British Census at Lincolnshire, England, at Aby with Greenfield Parish, enumerated 6 June 1841, described as a shop keeper. Mary Temple, listed as Ind (independent means?), was included in the household, as well as Frances Park...n, a dress maker, and Thomas Jackson.8
Thomas and Elizabeth White appeared on the 1851 British Census of England, at East Gate, at Louth, Lincolnshire, enumerated effective 30 Mar 1851, described as a Chelsea Pensioner (referring to residents of the Royal Hospital Chelsea). It is not clear to me why a Chelsea Pensioner would be enumerated in Louth. Note that Mary Temple was enumated on the line before them, also a resident of East Gate, age 69 (born c1782) at Belchford, Lincolnshire, England. She was a landed Proprietor.9,6,10
The following obituary appeared in the newspaper The Lincolnshire Chronicle, And Northampton, Rutland and Nottingham Advertiser published in Lincoln 21 January 1853:
Died
....At Louth, on the 14th inst., aged 70, Mr. Thomas Boothby White, military pensioner.4

     Research notes (May 2024):
Look for sources confirming Thomas was a son of William White and Ruth Boothby, and therefore a brother of Mary Temple née White.11

     Research notes (May 2024):
Alternatively, is this Thomas White, son of Rebecca White, who was baptized 11 Jan 1784 at St Mary, Binbrook, Lincoln, England?12,13
