Jack Jamieson, 57, of Hope township, died in hospital jere early today of injuries received whe he was struck Friday night by a motor car driven by Frank W. Rickard, newly-elected member of Parliament for Durham. Jamieson suffered a fractured skull. Rickard was on his way to Port Hope to attend a Liberal Party banquet in his honor when the fender of his car struck Jamieson, who was walking on the highway.1
