She was born on 9 December 1889 at Germany.2 Alternatively, she may have been born circa 1888 at Austria since she was 17 in the 1906 census. Note that the 1901 census shows she was born in Germany.1
She was also known as Lena Valker in the 1901 census.2 Lena Walker immigrated with her parents, Johann Walker and Eva Schick in 1899 to Canada from Germany (or Austria.)3,2
Lena Valker appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of RM of Westbourne, Manitoba in the household of her parents, John and Eva Valker.2
She appeared on the 1906 Census of Canadian Prairie Provinces Manitoba in the household of her parents, John and Eva Walker.1
Lena Walker is referenced in my analysis of Johann Walker and Eva Schick in April 2022; I have included the Walker family in this database because several of the children of John and Eva Walker married into the Kreutzer family.
The family erected a memorial monument in the Colby Tupper cemetery, listing 14 children.
In my research I have found references to two other children, Lena Walker and Lily Valker, both included in the 1901 census, that are not included in this list. They may represent nick names for two of the daughters listed on the monument, but at this time, I am not confident of the attributions.4
