He was executor of his father's will, dated 1 July 1760 and proved 29 Jul 1760.1 His own will was dated 4 January 1761 and proved 4 February 1761. Ebenezer Billings was an ensign in the Second Stonington Company in May 1751, captain in the First Connecticut Regiment in March 1756, and captain in the Eighth Connecticut Regiment in February 1757.1 His will was dated 3 July 1759 and proved 21 July 1759.1
