     Hakes (?) married first Gideon Hall.¹ She married second John Crandall, son of John Crandall and Mary (?).¹

     Joseph Clark married Deborah Crandall, daughter of John Crandall and Mary (?), on 25 April 1729.¹
     He and Deborah had the following known children: Mary (b July 1729), Joseph (b 30 March 1737), Elisha (b 25 February 1742).¹

     Samuel Langworthy was married by Elder John Maxson to Mary Crandall, daughter of John Crandall and Mary (?), on 18 August 1736 in Westerly, Kings Co., Rhode Island.¹
     He and Mary had the following known children, all born in Hopkinton, Kings Co., Rhode Island: Mary (b 11 May 1739), Elizabeth (b 31 May 1741), Rachel (b 8 June 1743), Samuel (b 27 November 1745), Tacy (b 20 November 1747), Joseph (b 6 February 1749), Hannah (b 21 June 1752).¹

     Thomas William Davis was born in 1719 in Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., New Jersey.¹ He was married by Eld. John Maxson to Tacy Crandall, daughter of John Crandall and Mary (?), on 28 December 1737 in Westerly, Kings Co., Rhode Island.¹ He died on 1 July 1791.¹ He was buried in White Day Creek, West Virginia.¹
     He and Tacy had the following known children: John (d young), Nathan (b 19 May 1740), Elizabeth, John (b 11 June 1754), William (b 21 March 1758, d 6 January 1845), Henry, Martha (b 15 August 1760, d 2 January 1854), Mary.¹

     Anne (?) married Levi Crandall, son of John Crandall and Hannah (?).¹
     She and Levi had five children, including Levi (b abt 1750), Hosea (b abt 1755), and Martha (b abt 1757).¹

     Sarah Youmans was married by Rev. Nathaniel Eells to Abijah Crandall, son of John Crandall and Hannah (?), on 29 August 1754 in Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut.¹
     She and Abijah had the following known children, all born in Westerly, Kings Co., Rhode Island: Moses (b 12 October 1755), Uriah, Sibbel (b 9 June 1759), Amariah (b 3 April 1762).¹

     Mary Auchmuty was married by Joseph Crandall, J. P., to Elijah Crandall, son of John Crandall and Hannah (?), on 28 March 1754 in Westerly, Kings Co., Rhode Island.¹

     Elizabeth Slack was born on 26 April 1727.¹ She married Benajah Crandall, son of John Crandall and Hannah (?), on 18 March 1754.¹

     Thankful (?) married Benajah Crandall, son of John Crandall and Hannah (?).¹

     Nathan Rogers was born on 6 May 1718 in Waterford, Connecticut.¹ He married first Martha Davis, daughter of John Davis and Elizabeth Maxson, on 17 December 1740.¹ He married second Hannah Crandall, daughter of John Crandall and Hannah (?), on 17 September 1757.¹ He died in March 1794 at age 75.¹
     He and his second wife Hannah had the following known children: Judith (b 3 September 1758), Jonathan (b 10 November 1760), Phineas (b 5 March 1764), Jesse (b 16 January 1767), Ethan (b 5 December 1768), Bethany (b 26 February 1772).¹

     Sarah Sherman was married by Joseph Crandall, J. P., to David Crandall, son of John Crandall and Elizabeth Lewis, on 19 February 1761 in Hopkinton, Washington Co., Rhode Island.¹ She died on 14 June 1764 in Hopkinton, Washington Co., Rhode Island.¹
     She and David had one known daughter, Sarah Ann (b 8 March 1762).¹

     Jemima Coon married David Crandall, son of John Crandall and Elizabeth Lewis, on 14 June 1764 in Hopkinton, Washington Co., Rhode Island. (Note that this is the same date listed for the death of David's first wife, Sarah Sherman. One of them is likely wrong.)¹
     She and David had the following known children: Elias (b 17 February 1765), David (b 12 December 1766), Jemima (b 26 January 1770), Zebbius (b 22 November 1774, d young), Zelek (b 3 July 1776), John (b 16 May 1778), Anna (b 7 April 1779), Mercy (b 19 March 1780), Nancy (b 17 January 1783).¹

     Isabel Auchmuty was married by Joseph Crandall, J. P., to Stephen Crandall, son of John Crandall and Elizabeth Lewis, on 16 December 1762.¹
     She and Stephen had the following known children: a son (name unknown), Elizabeth (b 8 May 1777), Jemima (b 1783).¹

     Joseph Crandall was born on 17 January 1717 in Westerly, Providence Co., Rhode Island.^1,2 He was married first, by William Hern, J. P., to his cousin Elizabeth Crandall, daughter of John Crandall and Mary (?), on 13 December 1738 in Westerly, Kings Co., Rhode Island.² He was married second, by Job Taylor, J. P., to his cousin (and first wife's half-sister) Martha Crandall, daughter of John Crandall and Hannah (?), on 17 September 1772.² He died in 1792 in Westerly, Washington Co., Rhode Island.²
     He served as Town Clerk and was a member of the Town Council in Westerly, Kings Co., Rhode Island, from 1775 to 1781.² In March 1777 he was appointed by the General Assembly to take the military census in Westerly.² And in July 1780 he was one of a committee set up by the General Assembly to receive recruits.²
     He and his first wife Elizabeth had the following known children: Jonathan (b 16 February 1740), Phineas (b 7 April 1743), Anna (b 23 August 1745), Elijah (b 17 January 1747), Joseph (b 17 February 1750), Sylvester (b 7 November 1754), Elisha (b 15 April 1756).²
