He lived at the "Timber Lands," property in West Barnstable, New Plymouth Colony, that had been given to him by his father.2 His will was dated 12 March 1696/97, and proved on 13 April 1697. He left half of his estate to his wife Sarah, and half to his oldest son Thomas.2
