     Charity Colvin was born on 1 January 1706 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.1 She married Barlingstone Burlingame, son of John Burlingame and Mary Knowles Lippitt, about 1726.1 She died on 9 May 1797 in Coventry, Kent Co., Rhode Island, at age 91.1 She was buried in Arkwright, Rhode Island.1
     In her father's will, dated 22 September 1763 and proved 30 Jul 1764, she was left 30s.1 In her husband's will, dated 13 October 1767 and proved 19 Dec 1767, she was left the use of the homestead for the rest of her life.1 She and Barlingstone had the following known children: Joseph (b abt 1728, d 1801), Orpha, Benedict (d 24 May 1749), Stephen (b 13 March 1742, d 10 April 1808).1

     Jerusha (?) married Benjamin Burlingame, son of John Burlingame and Mary Knowles Lippitt, about 1722.1
     She was co-executor of her husband Benjamin Burlingame's will, dated 25 January 1741 and proved 12 July 1742, along with Benjamin's cousin Moses Burlingame and John Potter.1 She and Benjamin had the following known children: Caleb (b abt 1724), Pardon (b abt 1726, d 11 April 1748), Benjamin (b abt 1730), Lydia, Roby.1

     Mary Brown was born on 21 December 1709 in Cranston, Providence Co., Rhode Island.1 She married David Burlingame, son of John Burlingame and Mary Knowles Lippitt, on 9 June 1728.1 She died in October 1794 in Glocester, Providence Co., Rhode Island, at age 84.1
     She was a first cousin of her brother-in-law James Burlingame's wife Hannah Brown. Their ancestry can be carried back much farther on their father's side, and includes the Mayflower passenger William White.2
     She was co-executor of her husband David Burlingame's will, dated 25 January 1755 and proved 15 Mar 1755, along with David's brother James and brother-in-law Nathan Brown.1 Her own will was proved on 3 November 1794 in Glocester, Providence Co., Rhode Island. The executor was Jeremiah Steere.1
     She and David had the following known children: Mary (b 9 July 1729), Benedict (b 19 November 1731, d 9 August 1800), Thomas (b 18 August 1734), David (b 28 October 1736, d 23 November 1815), twins Meribeth (b 5 May 1739) and Stutley (b 5 May 1739), Sarah (b 19 February 1744, d 9 December 1745), Patience (b 9 March 1746), Elisha (b 6 September 1749, d 12 June 1823), Benjamin (b 18 March 1753, d 8 March 1820).1

     He served as Deputy from Scituate, Providence Co., Rhode Island, in 1737, 1742, 1749, and 1753. He was called Captain in 1753.1
     His will was dated 8 July 1777 in Scituate, Providence Co., Rhode Island, and proved 6 September 1780. The executor was his grandson Samuel Fenner. He left: to his son Christopher, a Spanish milled dollar; to his daughter-in-law Freelove Ralph, use of 1/3 of his homestead while a widow; to his grandsons Thomas and Daniel Ralph, his homestead farm, to be divided equally between them, plus six small lots in Cranston; to his granddaughters Patience Knight, Patience and Mary Arnold, Robe Wightman, Ruth and Elizabeth Burlingame, and Saintony Priest, 1/6 of his movable estate [sic]; and to his grandchildren Thomas and David Ralph, Lydia Fenner, and Zilpha Ralph, the rest of his estate.1
     He and Patience had the following known children: Thomas (b abt 1710), Mary (b abt 1712), Christopher (b abt 1715), Deliverance (b abt 1718), David (b abt 1720), Patience, Sarah (b abt 1732).1
