     William Herrick was born on 16 February 1778 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He was married by Rev. Moses Dow to Lydia Woodman, daughter of Benjamin Woodman and Hannah Creesy, on 5 April 1803 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2,3,4 He died from "cholera morbus" on 9 August 1846 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 68.5,1,6
     He was a mariner.5 He and Lydia had the following known children: Daniel (b 27 September 1804, d 14 April 1826), William (b 7 April 1809), Benjamin (b 28 September 1811), Lydia (b 18 May 1814, d 28 January 1833), Charles (b 6 January 1817, d 7 January 1871), Emmeline (b 2 September 1819).3

     John Herrick was born on 9 August 1781 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He married first Polly Creesy, daughter of John Creesy and Mary Herrick, on 5 July 1804 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2,3,4 He married second Tabitha Burnham, daughter of Parker Burnham and Tabitha (?), on 2 January 1827 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2,4 He died from "old age" on 22 October 1862 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 81.5
     He and his first wife Polly had the following known children, all born in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts: Mary (b 23 September 1806), John (b 12 July 1809, d 1 May 1826), Luther (b 17 November 1815), Elizabeth Creesy (b 20 December 1818), Elbridge Wallis (b 19 August 1821, d 10 February 1822), Harriet Wallis (b 22 June 1824).6,4,7 He and his second wife Tabitha had one known child, Hannah Jane (b 2 November 1827).8,4
