President Andrew Johnson was born on 29 December 1808 in Raleigh, North Carolina.1 He was the son of Jacob Johnson and Mary (Polly) McDonough.1 President Andrew Johnson married Eliza McCardle on 17 May 1827 in Warrensburg, Greene County, Tennessee.1 President Andrew Johnson died on 31 July 1875 in Carter's Station, Tennessee, at age 66.1 He was buried in Greenville, Tennessee.1
