Grand Duke Vasilij I (II) (of Moscow And Vladimir) was born on 30 December 1371 of Moskva, Moskva, Russia.1 He was the son of Grand Duke Dmitrij IV 'Donskoj' (of Moscow and Vladimir) and Princess Evdokiya Dmitrievna (of Suzdal).1 Grand Duke Vasilij I (II) (of Moscow And Vladimir) married Princess Sofija (of Lithuania), daughter of Grand Duke Vytautas Aleksandras (of Lithuania) and Princess Anna Svyatoslavna (of Smolensk), on 9 January 1391 of Vil'nyus, Vil'nyus, Lithuania.1 Grand Duke Vasilij I (II) (of Moscow And Vladimir) died on 7 February 1425 or 27 February 1425 at Archangel Cathedral, Moskva, Moskva, Russia.1
