Countess Gertrude (of Hohenberg) was born about 1225 in Schwaben.1 She was the daughter of Count Burkhard III (of Hohenberg) and Countess Mathilde (of Tubingen).1 Countess Gertrude (of Hohenberg) married King Rudolf I (of the Germans), son of Count Albrecht IV (of Habsburg) and Countess Hedwige (of Kyburg), in January 1245.1 Countess Gertrude (of Hohenberg) died on 16 February 1281.1 She was buried in February 1281 in Basel, Baselstadt, Switzerland.1
