Princess Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa (of Saxe-Marksuhl) was born on 13 April 1662 in Friedewald, Rheinland, Prussia.1 She was the daughter of Duke Johann Georg I (of Saxe-Marksuhl) and Countess Johannette (of Sayn-Wittgenstein).1 Princess Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa (of Saxe-Marksuhl) married Margrave Johann Friedrich (of Brandenburg-Ansbach), son of Margrave Albrecht (of Brandenburg-Ansbach) and Countess Sofie Margarethe (of Öttingen), on 14 November 1681 in Eisenach, Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, Thuringia.1 Princess Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa (of Saxe-Marksuhl) died on 9 September 1696 in Pretzsch, Sachsen, Prussia, at age 34.1 She was buried in Freiburg, Dresden, Saxony.1
She became the mother of Caroline (?) on 1 March 1683.1 Princess Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa (of Saxe-Marksuhl) became the mother of Prince Friedrich August (of Brandenburg) on 3 January 1685.1 Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa's son Prince Friedrich August (of Brandenburg) died on 30 January 1685.1 Princess Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa (of Saxe-Marksuhl) became a widow with the death of her husband, Margrave Johann Friedrich (of Brandenburg-Ansbach) on 22 March 1686 in Mittelfranken, Bavaria, at age 31.1 Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa's father Duke Johann Georg I (of Saxe-Marksuhl) died on 19 September 1686 in Jadgschloss, Eisenach, Saxe-Weimer-Eisenach, Thuringia.1 Princess Eleonore Erdmuthe Louisa (of Saxe-Marksuhl) became the mother of Margrave Wilhelm Friedrich (of Brandenburg-Ansbach) on 29 December 1686.1
