Samuel Prescott Bush was born on 4 October 1863 at Brick Church, New Jersey.1 He was the son of James Smith Bush and Harriet Eleanor Fay.1,2 Samuel Prescott Bush married Flora Sheldon, daughter of Robert Emmet Sheldon and Mary Elizabeth Butler, on 20 June 1894 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.1,2 Samuel Prescott Bush died on 8 February 1948 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 84.1
Samuel Prescott's father James Smith Bush died on 11 November 1889 in Ithaca, New York.1 Samuel Prescott Bush became the father of Prescott Sheldon Bush on 15 May 1895.1 Samuel Prescott Bush became a widower with the death of his wife, Flora Sheldon on 4 September 1920 in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, at age 48.1 Samuel Prescott's son Prescott Sheldon Bush was married to Dorothy Walker on 6 August 1921 in Kennebunkport, York County, Maine.1,2 Samuel Prescott's mother Harriet Eleanor Fay died on 27 February 1924 in Boston, Massachusetts.1
