Gilbert James Livingston

Gilbert James Livingston was born on 14 October 1758 in Poughkeepsie, New York.¹ He was the son of James Livingston and Judith Newcomb.¹ Gilbert James Livingston married Susannah Lewis, daughter of Richard Lewis and Susanna Vanderburgh, on 28 February 1779 in Troy, New York.¹ Gilbert James Livingston died on 7 April 1833 in Rome, New York, at age 74.¹
He became the father of Judith Livingston on 4 September 1785.¹ Gilbert James's father James Livingston died on 2 June 1790 in probably Poughkeepsie, New York.¹ Gilbert James's daughter was married at wedding of Judith Livingston and Samuel Herrick Butler on 26 June 1806 in Waterford, New York.¹ Gilbert James's mother Judith Newcomb died on 31 August 1808.¹ Gilbert James Livingston became a widower with the death of his wife, Susannah Lewis on 27 July 1822 in Saratoga, New York, at age 61.¹
