Sarah Benjamin was born in 1663.1 She was the daughter of John Benjamin and Lydia Allen.1 Sarah Benjamin married William Hagar, son of William Hagar and Mary Bemis.1 Sarah Benjamin died in 1745.1
She became the mother of Mehitable Hagar on 7 May 1704.1 Sarah's father John Benjamin died on 22 December 1706 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1,2 Sarah's mother Lydia Allen died in 1709.1 Sarah's daughter was married at wedding of Mehitable Hagar and Joseph Travis on 28 February 1726/27.1 Sarah Benjamin became a widow with the death of her husband, William Hagar in 1731.1 Sarah's daughter Mehitable Hagar died on 22 December 1737.1
