Lydia Pabodie was born on 3 April 1667 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of William Pabodie and Elizabeth Alden.2 Lydia Pabodie married Daniel Grinnell, son of Daniel Grinnel and Mary Wodell, about 1683.1 Lydia Pabodie died on 13 July 1748 in Old Killingworth (now Clinton), Connecticut, at age 81.1
She became the mother of Peabody Grinnell about 1684.1 Lydia Pabodie became the mother of George Grinnell about 1686.1 Lydia Pabodie became the mother of Mary Grinnell about 1688.1 Lydia Pabodie became the mother of Priscilla Grinnell about 1690.1 Lydia's daughter was married at wedding of Mary Grinnell and Robert Lay on 21 December 1703.1 Lydia Pabodie became the mother of Jerima Grinnell on 26 July 1705; or 1704 or 1706.1 Lydia's daughter was married at wedding of Priscilla Grinnell and Theophilus Redfield on 24 December 1706.1 Lydia Pabodie became the mother of Damiel Grinnell on 11 July 1707; or 1708.1 Lydia's father William Pabodie died on 13 December 1707 in Little Compton, Newport County, Rhode Island.3,2 Lydia's daughter was married at wedding of Lydia Grinnell and Joseph Clarke on 25 September 1712.4 Lydia's daughter was married at wedding of Sarah Grinnell and (?) Brooks on 29 April 1717.1 Lydia's mother Elizabeth Alden died on 31 May 1717 in Little Compton, Newport County, Rhode Island.3,2 Lydia's son Peabody Grinnell was married to Ruth Nettleton on 8 April 1718.1 Lydia's son Peabody Grinnell was married to Sarah Barnes on 20 March 1732/33.1 Lydia's daughter Mary Grinnell died on 23 June 1738.1 Lydia Pabodie became a widow with the death of her husband, Daniel Grinnell in 1740.1
