Ensign Thomas Bartlett is also recorded born between 1605 and 1610?3 He was born in 1594 in Wiltshire, England.4,1,3 He was the son of Edmound Barttelot and Elizabeth Gore. Ensign Thomas Bartlett married Hannah (?) before 28 February 1636/37 in Watertown, (now Middlesex County), Massachusetts Bay Colony.1,2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett died on 26 April 1654 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, survived by Hannah (?) aged about 60 years.1,2 His estate was probated on 20 June 1654.2
Ensign Thomas Bartlett immigrated in 1630 to in Watertown, (now Middlesex County), Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 He was a servant to William Pelham before 3 May 1631; Thomas was ordered whipped for his unjust selling of his master's tools on 3 May 1631.2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett was listed a freeman on 4 March 1634/35 in Watertown, (now Middlesex County), Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 He became the father of Hannah Bartlett about 1637.2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett was elected selectman in Watertown, (now Middlesex County), Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 10 December 1638.2 He became the father of Mehitable Bartlett on 15 July 1640.2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett was appointed lieutenant from 10 December 1641 to 14 May 1645 in Watertown, (now Middlesex County), Massachusetts Bay Colony.2 He became the father of Hannah Bartlett on 6 August 1642.2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett was elected selectman in Watertown, (now Middlesex County), Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 28 November 1643.2 He became the father of Bethshua Bartlett on 17 April 1647.2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett became the father of Abiah Bartlett on 28 May 1651.1,2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett was elected selectman in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 20 December 1651.2 He left a will on 22 April 1653 administrated by Hannah (?) with heirs Abiah Bartlett, Hannah Bartlett, Mehitable Bartlett and Bethshua Bartlett.2 Ensign Thomas Bartlett was elected selectman in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, on 19 December 1653.2
