Mary Ann Hobbs was born on 17 April 1805 in Massachusetts.2,3 She was the daughter of Issac Hobbs and Mary Baldwin.2 Mary Ann Hobbs married Nathan Hagar, son of Nathan Hagar and Sally Travis, on 9 October 1832.2 Mary Ann Hobbs died on 9 January 1878 at age 72.2
Mary Ann's father Issac Hobbs died on 20 July 1834.2 Mary Ann's mother Mary Baldwin died on 5 December 1836.2 Mary Ann Hobbs became the mother of Anne Elizabeth Haggar on 24 March 1839.1 Mary Ann's daughter was married at wedding of Anne Elizabeth Haggar and Edward Carver Damon on 17 October 1860 in Weston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 Mary Ann Hobbs became a widow with the death of her husband, Nathan Hagar on 14 November 1863 at age 56.2
