He was a servant to Sir Richard Saltonstall.1 Hugh Tilley and William Eedes immigrated in 1629 to in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, on the Ship 'Lyon's Whelp'.1 Hugh Tilley became the father of Deborah Tilley on 30 October 1643.1 Hugh Tilley became the father of Samuel Tilley on 30 July 1646.1
