King Edward II (of England) was born on 25 April 1284 at Caernavon Castle, Caernavon, Wales.1 He was the son of King Edward I "Longshanks" (of England) and Queen Eleanor (of Castile).2 King Edward II (of England) married Princess Isabelle (of France), daughter of King Philip IV (of France) "the Fair" and Princess Jeanne (of Navarre), on 25 January 1308 in Boulogne, Pas-de-Calais, France.1,2 King Edward II (of England) died by murder on 21 September 1327 at Berkeley Castle, near Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England, at age 43.1 He was buried on 20 December 1327 at Cathedral, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.3,1
