Gertrude von Meran was the daughter of Count Berthold VI of Andechs and Agnes von Groitzsch-Rochlitz.2 Gertrude von Meran married King Andrew II (of Hungary), son of King Bela III (of Hungary) and Agnes (Anne) de Chatillon-sur-Loing, before 1203.2 Gertrude von Meran died on 8 September 1213.2
