Count Theobald I Briey, Bar-le-Duc and Luxemburg was born about 1160.1 He was the son of Count Renaud II (of Bar-le-Duc) and Agnes (of Blois).1 Count Theobald I Briey, Bar-le-Duc and Luxemburg married third Ermensinde Bar-le-Duc, daughter of TODO.1 Count Theobald I Briey, Bar-le-Duc and Luxemburg died on 13 February 1214.1 He was buried at St. Michael.1
Theobald I's father Count Renaud II (of Bar-le-Duc) died on 25 July 1170.1 Count Theobald I Briey, Bar-le-Duc and Luxemburg became the father of Count Henry II of Luxemburg, Namur and Bar-le-Duc in 1190.1 Theobald I's mother Agnes (of Blois) died on 7 August 1207.1
