Marguerite de Bourbon was born about 1211.1 She was the daughter of Seigneur Archambaud VIII de Bourbon and Guigone of Forez.1 Marguerite de Bourbon married King Theobald IV "the Great" of Navarre, son of Count Theobald III of Briey and Princess Blanche of Navarre, on 12 September 1232. Marguerite de Bourbon died on 12 April 1256 in Provins, Brie, France.1
Marguerite's father Seigneur Archambaud VIII de Bourbon died on 23 July 1242 Battle of Taillebourg, Cognac, France.1 Marguerite de Bourbon became the mother of King Henry I of Navarre about 1244.1 Marguerite de Bourbon became a widow with the death of her husband, King Theobald IV "the Great" of Navarre on 8 July 1253 in Pamplona at age 52.1
