Princess Ermengarde (Irmengarde) (of Hesbaye) married Emperor Louis I 'The Pious' (of the Holy Roman Empire), son of Emperor Charlemagne (of the Holy Roman Empire) and Hildegard Empress (of the Holy Roman Empire), in 798 in France.1 Princess Ermengarde (Irmengarde) (of Hesbaye) died on 3 October 818 in Angers, Maine Et Loire, France.1
