Research note on Noah (Gen 5-9) and his sons Japheth (Gen 5-10), Shem (Gen 5-11) and Ham (Gen 5-10):
Genesis 5:32 tells us that After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shen, Ham, and Japheth.
Genesis 7:11 Says the flood occured when Noah was 600 years old
Genesis 11:10 Says two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old
Genesis 9:24 Says that Ham was the youngest
Thus I presume the birth order is Japheth, Shem, Ham, though it could be Shem, Japheth, Ham if the age of when Noah had his sons was only to be taken as approximate (as possibly signalled by the 'after.')
Genesis 5:32 tells us that After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shen, Ham, and Japheth.
This sentence structure does not imply all were born together, but specifies when the first was born, and the rest were after. Often the order listed is the implied birth order, but not always, somes it shows importance
Genesis 7:11 Says the flood occured when Noah was 600 years old
Genesis 11:10 Says two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old
This implies that Shem was born when Noah was 502, which is later than when Noah was described as starting to have his sons, so possibly not the first (unless ages are only approximate), but listed first as more important to the Hebrews
Genesis 9:24 Says that Ham was the youngest
Thus I presume the birth order is Japheth, Shem, Ham, though it could be Shem, Japheth, Ham if the age of when Noah had his sons was only to be taken as approximate (as possibly signalled by the 'after.')
