Greek: Ῥαχήλ (Rhachḗl) from the Hebrew, means ewe.2
Hebrew: רָחֵל (Rachel) means ewe.
Rachel was the daughter of Laban (Gen 24-32). Rachel married Jacob (יַעֲקֹב) (Gen 25-50), son of Isaac (יִצְחָק) (Gen 21-35) and Rebekah (Gen 22-27).3 Rachel died Giving Birth to Benjamin.4
