; Jacob @ 130.2 I am assuming an alternate reading for 1 Chron 8:3 (which reads in the main text as: The sons of Bela were: Addar, Gera, Abihud,a Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, Gera, Shephuphan and Huram. ) which takes Abihud as father of Ehud so that line reads: The sons of Bela were: Addar, Gera, father of Ehud, Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
This fixes two issues, one that Ehud otherwise comes out of the blue and can not be placed in the genealogy, and we also don't have two sons named Gera.
