LONG ILLNESS FATAL TO KILLBUCK NATIVE AT HOME SUNDAY
William Walker Gallion died at 2 a.m. Sunday at his home near Killbuck after eight months’ illness with complications. He was 71.
He was born in Killbuck township, Holmes county, Nov. 17, 1866, and spent his entire life in this vicinity. He was a son of William and Jane Gallion.
In November, 1891, he married Josephine Drouard, who survives. He also leaves the following nine children: Mrs. Ira Bucklew, Massillon; Mrs. Lewis Drouthard, Massillon; Thomas and Walter Gallion, of Killbuck; Mrs. Howard Roby and Mrs. Howard Kemp, both of Massillon; Mrs. Paul Miller, William Gallion Jr., and Mrs. Boyd Merrill, all of North Canton. A brother, Lewis Gallion, Killbuck, a sister, Mrs. Julia Mitten, Glenmont, and 14 grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be head at 3:30 Tuesday at the home with Rev. O.R. Clary, pastor of the Killbuck Christian church, in charge. Burial will be in Killbuck cemetery.
