Death of an Esteemed Lady
Mrs. John Boyer, a highly esteemed lady of Larksville Borough, died on Saturday afternoon at 2:45 at the family residence on Nesbitt street. Mrs. Boyer had been in ill health for some time and her demise was due to a complication of diseases. Deceased was 63 years of age and is the wife of John Boyer, street commissioner of Larksville Borough. She was well known and her wide circle of friends will regret to hear of her death. Her husband and the following children survive her: John Boyer, Mrs. Timothy Carey of this place; James, of St. Clair, N.J.; Mrs. Devlin, wife of Councilman John Devlin; Philip of Dorranceton; Mrs. Joseph Lynch and Henry Boyer. The funeral will take place to-morrow morning at 9:30 with a high mass of requiem at St. Vincent's Church. Interment will be made in St. Vincent's Cemetery. -- Wilkes Barre Times-Leader, September 18, 1911.

Mrs. John Boyer Buried.
Many sorrowing friends and acquaintances attended the funeral of the late Mrs. John Boyer, which took place yesterday morning at 9 o'clock from the family residence on Nesbitt street, Larksville. The remains were taken to St. Vincent's church, where a high mass of requiem was celebrated by Rev. W.A. Healey. The pall bearers were: William J Grimes, Edward Powers, John Cary, John J Boney, Michael Dwyer, and James Hogan. The remains were taken to Forty Fort, where interment was made in the Forty Fort cemetery -- Wilkes Barre Times Leader, September 20, 1911.
