David W. Morrow, 70, of 948 Orr Ave., Kittanning, died at 3:25 this morning at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for two days. Born Sept. 22, 1903 in Armstrong County, he was the son of William and Mary (Manning) Morrow. He lived his entire life in Kittanning area and worked as a bus driver here. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kittanning. Mr. Morrow is survived by his widow, the former Hazel Yount; three sons - David A. of Erie, John E. of Atlantic City, N.J. and William E. of Huntington Beach, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Bernice) Lash, Kittanning, Mrs. James (Mary) Martin, Templeton RD 1, and Mrs. Andrew (Grace) Bowser, Pomona, Calif. Also surviving are a brother, John, of Kittanning, and three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Carrie) Claypoole, Kittanning, Mrs. Edward (Emily) Dubrock, Kittanning, and Mrs. Martha Sobey, Morrisville; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. MORROW - Friends of David W. Morrow, who died Sept. 6, 1974, are being received at Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning, from 7 to 9 this evening and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Dr. Robert H. Thurau, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kittanning, officiating. Interment will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements by Bauer.

Elva Jean Mechling was born on 2 June 1929. She married Kenneth Nulph on 24 October 1952.1 Elva Jean Nulph died on 17 January 2015 at Armstorng County Memorial Hospital, Armstrong, Pennsylvania, at age 85; Elva Jean "Sis" Nulph, age 85, of Kittanning, PA, died on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 2, 1929, in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of Oliver William and Susan E. (Hooks) Mechling.
Sis was a lifetime resident of the Kittanning area and previously attended the First Church of God. She had worked at the former G.C. Murphy's store shortly before her marriage then most recently worked for over 8 years at the Armstrong County Area on Aging. Sis was a former member of the ladies auxiliary of Hose Company #4. Crafts and crocheting where her favorite hobbies, and she enjoyed making Afghans for all her family members. Sis loved cooking and hosting family meals at holidays where she was known for her homemade noodles. She will best be remembered as a very caring person and always putting her family before herself.
Sis will be deeply missed by her son, Mark A. Nulph and wife, Tammy, of Kittanning; two daughters, Pamela S. Cupec and husband, William, of Dayton, and Lisa K. Lamison of Kittanning; six grandchildren, Steven, Kayli, Miranda, Alayna, Sara, and Angela; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Irene Monroe and husband, Richard, of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Kenneth Paul "Pinky" Mechling, and Raymond E. "Red" Mechling.
Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning.
Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2014, at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 AM with the Rev. John W. Snyder officiating.

She was born on June 2, 1929, in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of Oliver William and Susan E. (Hooks) Mechling.
Sis was a lifetime resident of the Kittanning area and previously attended the First Church of God. She had worked at the former G.C. Murphy's store shortly before her marriage then most recently worked for over 8 years at the Armstrong County Area on Aging. Sis was a former member of the ladies auxiliary of Hose Company #4. Crafts and crocheting where her favorite hobbies, and she enjoyed making Afghans for all her family members. Sis loved cooking and hosting family meals at holidays where she was known for her homemade noodles. She will best be remembered as a very caring person and always putting her family before herself.
Sis will be deeply missed by her son, Mark A. Nulph and wife, Tammy, of Kittanning; two daughters, Pamela S. Cupec and husband, William, of Dayton, and Lisa K. Lamison of Kittanning; six grandchildren, Steven, Kayli, Miranda, Alayna, Sara, and Angela; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Irene Monroe and husband, Richard, of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Kenneth Paul "Pinky" Mechling, and Raymond E. "Red" Mechling.
Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning.
Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2014, at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 AM with the Rev. John W. Snyder officiating.
