     John Morrow was born on 14 February 1829.¹ He married Nancy Jane Walker in 1852.¹ John Morrow died on 30 July 1864 at age 35; Judging from his death date, he most likely died of wounds suffered in the Battle of the Wilderness or Spotsylvania, in which his unit took part, in late May of 1864. The 102nd was on stand down in July 1864. Or perhaps he died of dysentery or any of the other maladies of the war. Now, in 2015, from GenResearch, findagrave member #46913375, he/she states: "According to government burial information, John was Killed in Action in York, PA during the Civil War." He was buried in August 1864 at Beracha Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Plumville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.¹ John Morrow Find-a-Grave.com ID # 42807792.
